“I forget who I am.”
Sometimes, a simple question makes me question everything!

Whenever someone asks me to introduce myself, my brain does one thing — it goes completely blank.
Who am I?
What’s my name?
What do I like?
Do I even have hobbies?
Do I have a life goal, or am I just floating through existence?
This happens almost every time — especially in new situations when meeting up with new people, or (the worst of all) when teachers randomly decide to put us on the main spot…
It’s like someone hits me on my shutdown button, and then suddenly, I have no idea how to describe myself.
Sure, I could start with the simple “Hi, my name is Anum.” But it sounds too basic and it’s a little boring too.
I have a few interests and goals, but when I started talking about them, my brain went into an existential crisis.
To be honest, I’m having more fun writing this piece than actually introducing myself! 😂😂
Maybe I’m better explained through a quote,
a song,
or a random line that feels like me.
